Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 16953

Mudrik narrates: I passed by Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) while he was sitting after performing the morning prayer. I said: "O Abu Abdullah, why are you sitting?" He said: "I am waiting for the sun to rise."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Mudrik bin Awf al-Bajali, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
