Awn bin Abdullah bin Utbah narrates: A man prayed beside Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him), and when he concluded with salam, the man heard him say: 'Allahumma anta al-salam, wa minka al-salam, tabarakta ya dha al-jalali wa al-ikram' (O Allah, You are the Giver of peace, and peace comes from You; Blessed are You, O Possessor of Majesty and Honour).
Then once the man prayed beside Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), and he heard him too say words like these after the salam. The man laughed. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) asked him: "What made you laugh?" He said: "I prayed beside Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him), and I heard him too recite words like these." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite these (words)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
