It is reported about Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him): Once some people came to him and began conversing with him. Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I will give you as provision for the journey what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave me as provision for the journey." He said: "When you pray, recite after every prayer 'Subhan Allah' 33 times, 'Al-hamdu lillah' 33 times and 'Allahu akbar' 34 times, and then recite: 'There is no god except Allah Almighty, He alone is the only one worthy of worship, He has no partner; the dominion belongs to Him alone, and praise belongs to Him alone, and He has power over all things.'"
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Mas'ud bin Sulayman, and he is majhul (unknown).
