Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 16877

Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Let none of you abandon doing two thousand good deeds for Allah Almighty every day: when morning comes, let him recite 'Subhan Allahi wa bihamdihi' one hundred times, and that will be two thousand good deeds. By Allah, if Allah wills, that person will not be able to commit that many sins in that day, and whatever good he does besides that will be extra."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Abu Bakr bin Abi Maryam, who is da'if (weak).
