وَعَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ : أَنَّ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ حَدَّثَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَدَدَ مَا خَلَقَ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ مِلْءَ مَا خَلَقَ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَدَدَ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ مِلْءَ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَدَدَ مَا أَحْصَى كِتَابُهُ ، [وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ مِلْءَ مَا أَحْصَى كِتَابُهُ ] وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَدَدَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ مِلْءَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ ، وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ مِثْلَهَا ، فَأَعْظِمْ ذَلِكَ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Salim bin Abi al-Ja'd said: Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited: 'Alhamdulillahi adada ma khalaqa, walhamdulillahi mil'a ma khalaqa, walhamdulillahi adada ma fi al-samawati wal-ard, walhamdulillahi mil'a ma fi al-samawati wal-ard, walhamdulillahi adada ma ahsa kitabuhu, walhamdulillahi mil'a ma ahsa kitabuhu, walhamdulillahi adada kulli shay'in, walhamdulillahi mil'a kulli shay'in'
"All praise belongs to Allah alone, as numerous as His creation; all praise belongs to Allah alone, filling His creation; all praise belongs to Allah alone, as numerous as what is in the heavens and the earth; all praise belongs to Allah alone, filling what is in the heavens and the earth; all praise belongs to Allah alone, in number as much as His Book has recorded; all praise belongs to Allah alone, filling all that His Book has recorded; all praise belongs to Allah alone, as numerous as all things; and all praise belongs to Allah alone, filling all things."
(The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:) Then recite 'Subhan Allah' in the same way as well, and regard it as great."
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
