Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the night I was taken on the Night Journey (Mi'raj), I saw Sayyiduna Ibrahim, the Friend of Allah (peace be upon him). He said: 'O Muhammad, convey my greetings of peace to your Ummah and tell them that the soil of Paradise is fragrant, its water is sweet, its land is clear and level, and the way to plant in it is to recite: Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illa Allah, Allahu akbar and La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.'"
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Al-Tirmidhi recorded it in abridged form, without "La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Abd al-Rahman bin Ishaq Abu Shaybah al-Kufi, who is da'if (weak).
