Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 16851

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) states: "Any servant who recites 'Subhanallah' (Glory be to Allah) once, or recites 'Al-hamdu lillah' (All praise is for Allah) once, or recites 'Allahu akbar' (Allah is the Greatest) once, Allah Almighty, because of it, plants a tree for that person in Paradise whose root is of gold and whose upper part is made of jewels, adorned with precious stones and rubies. The fruits of that tree are like the breasts of virgins, softer than foam and sweeter than honey. Whenever a person picks any fruit from it, it becomes as it was before (that is, another fruit appears in its place)." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "Neither will they run out, nor will they be forbidden." Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat as mawquf (halted) at Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him); its chain contains a narrator, Sulayman bin Abi Karimah, who is da'if (weak).
