Sayyiduna Ubadah bin al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about women gathering together, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no good in their gathering, except for remembrance or a funeral. The example of their gathering, when they gather, is like that of a smith: when iron is put into the fire and it becomes hot, it is struck, and its sparks burn everything they fall upon."
Tabarani recorded it by way of Yahya bin Ishaq from Sayyiduna Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him), and Yahya did not live in the time of Sayyiduna Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him). The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
