بَابُ فَضْلِ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى ، وَالْإِكْثَارِ مِنْهُ

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ عَجَزَ مِنْكُمْ عَنِ اللَّيْلِ أَنْ يُكَابِدَهُ ، وَبَخِلَ بِالْمَالِ أَنْ يُنْفِقَهُ ، وَجَبُنَ عَنِ الْعَدُوِّ أَنْ يُجَاهِدَهُ ، فَلْيُكْثِرْ ذِكْرَ اللَّهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو يَحْيَى الْقَتَّاتُ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ الْجُمْهُورُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِ الْبَزَّارِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو يَحْيَى الْقَتَّاتُ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ الْجُمْهُورُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِ الْبَزَّارِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is unable to worship at night, is miserly in spending wealth, and is cowardly in fighting the enemy, should remember Allah abundantly."
Al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Abu Yahya al-Qattat, who has been declared trustworthy, while the majority declared him da'if (weak); the remaining narrators of al-Bazzar are the narrators of the Sahih.
