وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَنْ تَخْلُوَ الْأَرْضُ مِنْ أَرْبَعِينَ رَجُلًا مِثْلَ خَلِيلِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، فَبِهِمْ تُسْقَوْنَ ، وَبِهِمْ تُنْصَرُونَ ، مَا مَاتَ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا أَبْدَلَ اللَّهُ مَكَانَهُ آخَرَ " .
قَالَ سَعِيدٌ : وَسَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يَقُولُ : لَسْنَا نَشُكُّ أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ مِنْهُمْ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
قَالَ سَعِيدٌ : وَسَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يَقُولُ : لَسْنَا نَشُكُّ أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ مِنْهُمْ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) states that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The earth will not be empty of 40 people who will be like Sayyiduna Khalil al-Rahman (peace be upon him). Because of them you will be given water, and because of them you will be helped. Whenever one of them dies, Allah Almighty will bring another in his place." The narrator Sa'id says: I heard Qatadah say: We have no doubt that al-Hasan is one of them.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its chain is hasan (good).
