وَعَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ مُرَّةَ : أَنَّهُ جَاءَ الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ يَسْتَبِقَانِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَ : فَضَمَّهُمَا إِلَيْهِ ، وَقَالَ : " إِنَّ الْوَلَدَ مَبْخَلَةٌ مَجْبَنَةٌ ، وَإِنَّ آخِرَ وَطْأَةٍ وَطِئَهَا اللَّهُ بِوَجٍّ " .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ ابْنُ مَاجَهْ غَيْرَ وَجٍّ . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " آخِرُ وَطْأَةٍ وَطِئَهَا رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ " . وَرِجَالُهُمَا ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Ya'la bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) states: Once Sayyiduna Imam Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Imam Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) (who were children at the time) came running towards the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) held them both close to himself and said: "Children make (a man) miserly and cowardly. And the last trampling that Allah Almighty carried out was at the place 'Wajj'."
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Ibn Majah recorded this report, but he did not mention "Wajj".
Ahmad and al-Tabarani recorded it, but they recorded these words: "That last trampling which the Lord of all the worlds carried out." The narrators of both reports are thiqat (trustworthy).
