وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : كَانَ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ مُحَرَّرٌ مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، فَقَدِمَ سَبْيٌ مِنْ بَنِي الْعَنْبَرِ ، فَأَمَرَهَا النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنْ تَعْتِقَ مِنْهُمْ ، أَوْ قَالَ هَذَا الْمَعْنَى . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، عَنْ شَيْخِهِ : أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي السَّفَرِ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) states: Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) was obliged to free a slave from among the descendants of Sayyiduna Isma'il (peace be upon him). Some captives belonging to Banu al-Anbar came, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) to free one of them. The narrator says: Or the words were something with this meaning.
