بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي فَضْلِ الْأَنْصَارِ .

Majma al-Zawaid 16514 — Reports on the virtue of the Ansar
وَعَنْ رَجُلٍ قَالَ : قَالَ ذُو الْيَدَيْنِ : يَا مَعْشَرَ الْأَنْصَارِ ، أَلَيْسَ أَمَرَكُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنْ تَصْبِرُوا حَتَّى تَلْقَوْهُ ؟ رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَتَابِعِيُّهُ لَمْ يُسَمَّ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
قُلْتُ : وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ حَدِيثُ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ فِي هَذَا الْبَابِ .

A man says: Sayyiduna Dhu al-Yadayn (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O company of the Ansar! Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) not command you to be patient until you meet the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?"
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its Tabi'i narrator is not named, and the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The hadith narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) has already passed in this chapter.
