وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أَسْرَعُ قَبَائِلِ الْعَرَبِ فَنَاءً قُرَيْشٌ ، يُوشِكُ أَنْ تَمُرَّ الْمَرْأَةُ بِالْنَعْلِ فَتَقُولُ : هَذَا نَعْلٌ قُرَشِيٌّ " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَأَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَالْبَزَّارُ وَقَالَ : " هَذِهِ " بَدَلُ " هَذَا " . وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ ، وَأَبِي يَعْلَى رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Of the tribes of the Arabs, Quraysh will be the quickest to pass away. Soon a time will come when a woman will pass by a sandal and say: 'This is the sandal of some Qurashi.'"
Imam Ahmad, Imam Abu Ya'la and Imam al-Bazzar recorded this narration, and he (al-Bazzar) narrated one word differently. The narrators of Imam Ahmad and the narrators of Imam Abu Ya'la are the narrators of the Sahih.
