وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " حُبُّ قُرَيْشٍ إِيمَانٌ ، وَبُغْضُهُمْ كُفْرٌ ، مَنْ أَحَبَّ الْعَرَبَ فَقَدْ أَحَبَّنِي ، وَمَنْ أَبْغَضَهُمْ فَقَدْ أَبْغَضَنِي " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ جَمَّازٍ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Loving Quraysh is faith and hating them is disbelief. Whoever loves the Arabs loves me, and whoever hates them hates me."
Imam al-Bazzar recorded this narration. Its chain contains al-Haytham bin Jammaz, who is matruk (abandoned).
