Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 16439

Imam Abu Ja'far Muhammad bin Ali bin Husayn (that is, Imam al-Baqir, may Allah have mercy on him) narrates: Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) came to me while I was in school. He said: "Uncover your stomach." I uncovered my stomach, and he kissed it, and then said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed me to convey salam (greetings of peace) to you."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, al-Mufaddal bin Salih, who is da'if (weak).
