وَعَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ : أَنَّ اسْمَ أَبِي رَافِعٍ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَسْلَمُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ رَاوٍ لَمْ يُسَمَّ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .

A man from the people of Madinah said: The name of Sayyiduna Abu Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him), the freed slave of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), was "Aslam".
