Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 16185

عَنْ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنْ أَخَاكُمُ النَّجَاشِيَّ قَدْ مَاتَ ، فَاسْتَغْفِرُوا لَهُ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Your brother, the Negus, has passed away; pray for his forgiveness."
