عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ قَالَ : وُلِدْتُ فِي أَرْضِ الْحَبَشَةِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ وَفِي بَعْضِهِمْ خِلَافٌ ، وَلَهُ طَرِيقٌ فِي الْهِجْرَةِ إِلَى الْحَبَشَةِ .

Sayyiduna Muhammad bin Hatib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I was born in the land of Abyssinia.
Tabarani recorded it; its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy), though there is disagreement about some of them. It has another chain, which has already passed in the chapter on the emigration to Abyssinia.
