Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 16153

Sayyiduna Hamzah bin Amr al-Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We were travelling with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). On a pitch-dark night we halted, and my fingers lit up, so much so that by their light the people gathered their mounts and also gathered whatever of their belongings had fallen; and all the while my fingers kept shining.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy); there is a difference of opinion about the narrator Kathir bin Zayd.
