Silah bin Ashyam narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Rifa'ah (may Allah be pleased with him) was wounded while I was taking part in a campaign. I saw in a dream as if Sayyiduna Abu Rifa'ah (may Allah be pleased with him) was riding a swift she-camel and I was riding a slow camel that takes short steps. I was behind him, and he would turn her aside and hold her back, until I would think: Now I can make my voice reach him. Then he would let her go, and she would speed off, and I would follow him. So I interpreted my dream to mean that it is the path of Sayyiduna Abu Rifa'ah (may Allah be pleased with him) which I will take, and that after him I will strive hard in good deeds.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
