عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ : لَمَّا قَدِمَ أَهْلُ الْبَحْرَيْنِ وَقَدِمَ الْجَارُودُ وَافِدًا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَرِحَ بِهِ فَقَرَّبَهُ وَأَدْنَاهُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ زَرْبِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the people of Bahrain came, Sayyiduna al-Jarud (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as a delegate. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was pleased at his arrival, and he brought him near and drew him close.
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Zarbi bin Abdullah, who is da'if (weak).
