Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 16100

Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: On the day of (the Battle of) Ta'if, I let myself down by a pulley and came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You are Abu Bakrah (that is, the man of the pulley)."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Abu al-Minhal al-Bakrawi, and I do not know him. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
