Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 16049

Abu Mulaykah states: Whenever Sayyiduna Ikrimah (may Allah be pleased with him) wanted to make an oath emphatic, he would say: By the One who saved me on the day of the Battle of Badr. Likewise, he would take the Qur'an, place it on his face and say: This is the Speech of my Lord, this is the Speech of my Lord.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it as a mursal report, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
