وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " يَطْلَعُ عَلَيْكُمْ خَيْرُ ذِي يَمَنٍ ، عَلَيْهِ مَسْحَةُ مَلَكٍ " . فَطَلَعَ جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ الْكَلْبِيُّ ، وَهُوَ كَذَّابٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best person of Yemen will appear before you, upon whom there is the trace of an angel's touch." The narrator says: Then Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) appeared.
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Muhammad bin al-Sa'ib al-Kalbi, who is kadhdhab (a liar).
