وَعَنْ أَسْلَمَ - مَوْلَى عُمَرَ - قَالَ : قَدِمَ عَلَيْنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ وَهُوَ أَبْيَضُ النَّاسِ وَأَجْمَلُهُمْ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
Aslam, the freed slave of Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), narrated: Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) came to us, and he was the fairest of people and the most handsome of them.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Muslim bin Jundub, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
