Majma al-Zawaid 15910 — Reports on Mu'awiyah bin Abi Sufyan
وَعَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ قَالَ : كَانَ مُعَاوِيَةُ طَوِيلًا ، أَبْيَضَ ، أَجْلَحَ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
Khalid bin Ma'dan narrated: Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) was a tall, fair-skinned man, and the hair at the sides of his head had receded.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Safwan bin Salih, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
