Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 15901

Yahya bin Bukayr said: The kunyah of Sayyiduna Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) was Abu Abdullah. He passed away in Egypt on the night of Eid al-Fitr in the year 43 AH and was buried on the day of Eid al-Fitr. His son Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) led his funeral prayer. At the time of his death he was about one hundred years old.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this report, and its narrators up to the one who said it are thiqat (trustworthy).
