عَنْ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ : لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنَا بِفَجِّ الرَّوْحَاءِ فِي غَزْوَةٍ غَزَاهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَبَصُرَ بِي وَدَعَا لِي بِدَعَوَاتٍ مَا يَسُرُّنِي بِهَا الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مُوسَى بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Maymun bin Mihran said: I heard Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) say: I remember that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took part in a military expedition, and during that expedition we were at the place called "Fajj al-Rawha'". The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) noticed me and supplicated for me; I would not like to be given this world and everything in it in exchange for those supplications.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this report in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Musa bin Umar bin Amr bin Maymun bin Mihran, whom I do not know, and the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
