وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ غُسِلَ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَالْبَزَّارُ بِنَحْوِهِ ، وَفِيهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبَةَ ، وَثَّقَهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَاخْتُلِفَ فِي الِاحْتِجَاجِ بِهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَالْبَزَّارُ بِنَحْوِهِ ، وَفِيهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبَةَ ، وَثَّقَهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَاخْتُلِفَ فِي الِاحْتِجَاجِ بِهِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a dog laps from a vessel, it is to be washed seven times."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it, and Imam al-Bazzar recorded something similar; its chain contains a narrator, Ibrahim bin Isma'il bin Abi Habibah, whom Imam Ahmad declared "thiqah (trustworthy)", and there is disagreement about using him as evidence.
