وَعَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ : قَالَ عُثْمَانُ - يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَفَّانَ - : ادْعُوَا لِي زَيْدَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ كَاتِبَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، غَيْرَ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَبْدِ بْنِ أَبِي كَرِيمَةَ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
Mus'ab bin Sa'd states: Sayyiduna Uthman al-Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Call Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) to me, the scribe of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Isma'il bin Abd bin Abi Karimah, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
