وَعَنْ عُرْوَةَ : فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ قُتِلَ يَوْمَ الْيَمَامَةِ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ، ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ : ثَابِتُ بْنُ قَيْسِ بْنِ شَمَّاسٍ سَنَةَ ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَهُوَ مُرْسَلٌ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Urwah mentioned, among the names of those martyred in the Battle of Yamamah, Sayyiduna Thabit bin Qays bin Shammas (may Allah be pleased with him), of the Ansar, from the branch of Banu al-Harith bin al-Khazraj, who was martyred in the year 12 AH.
