بَابٌ فِي بَوْلِ الصَّبِيِّ وَالْجَارِيَةِ .
The urine of a baby boy and a baby girl

وَعَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِذَا كَانَ الْغُلَامُ لَمْ يَطْعَمِ الطَّعَامَ صُبَّ عَلَى بَوْلِهِ ، وَإِذَا كَانَتِ الْجَارِيَةُ غَسَلَهُ " .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ مَوْقُوفًا عَلَيْهَا .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الْمَكِّيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ مَوْقُوفًا عَلَيْهَا .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الْمَكِّيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When it is a boy who does not yet eat food, water is poured over his urine, and if it is a girl, it (her urine) is washed. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
Imam Abu Dawud recorded this narration as "mawquf" (stopping at a Companion) on Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her).
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Isma'il bin Muslim al-Makki, and he is da'if (weak).
Imam Abu Dawud recorded this narration as "mawquf" (stopping at a Companion) on Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her).
