Majma al-Zawaid 15687 — Reports on the virtue of Sa'd bin Mu'adh

Al-Tabarani says: Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Mu'adh al-Ansari, al-Ashhali: he has the honour of having taken part in the Battles of Badr and Uhud. His kunyah was Abu Amr. He was martyred in the Battle of the Trench (al-Khandaq). This has already passed with its chains in the chapter on the Battle of Badr.
