وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " أَنَا سَابِقُ الْعَرَبِ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ ، وَصُهَيْبٌ سَابِقُ الرُّومِ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ ، وَبِلَالٌ سَابِقُ الْحَبَشَةِ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ ، وَسَلْمَانُ سَابِقُ الْفُرْسِ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "I am the one from among the Arabs who takes the lead to Paradise; from among the Romans, Suhayb is the one who takes the lead to Paradise; from among the Abyssinians, Bilal is the one who takes the lead to Paradise; and from among the Persians, Salman is the one who takes the lead to Paradise."
