عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " دَخَلْتُ الْجَنَّةَ فَإِذَا حِسٌّ ، فَنَظَرْتُ فَإِذَا بِلَالٌ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ مُصْعَبُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَضَعَّفَهُ جَمَاعَةٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I entered Paradise and sensed a sound there. I looked, and it was Bilal."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Mus'ab bin Thabit al-Zubayri, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy) while a group declared him da'if (weak); the rest of the narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy).
