بَابُ فَضْلِ زَيْدِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَرَضِيَ عَنْهُ -
The virtue of Zayd bin Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him), freed slave of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
Majma al-Zawaid 15512 — The virtue of Zayd bin Harithah, freed slave
وَعَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، آخَيْتَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ . رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ الْأَزْدِيِّ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
Sayyiduna Zayd bin Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that he said: O Messenger of Allah! You made me and Sayyiduna Hamzah bin Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him) brothers.
