بَابُ فَضْلِ زَيْدِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَرَضِيَ عَنْهُ -

وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : لَمَّا أُصِيبَ زَيْدُ بْنُ حَارِثَةَ جِيءَ بِأُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، فَأُوقِفُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَدَمَعَتْ عَيْنَا رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَأُخِّرَ ، ثُمَّ عَادَ مِنَ الْغَدِ فَوَقَفَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ، فَقَالَ : " أُلَاقِي مِنْكَ الْيَوْمَ مَا لَقِيتُ مِنْكَ أَمْسِ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، عَنْ شَيْخِهِ عُمَرَ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُجَالِدٍ ، وَهُوَ كَذَّابٌ .
Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reports: When Sayyiduna Zayd bin Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him) was martyred, Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with them both) was brought and made to stand before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Tears flowed from the eyes of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so Usamah was moved back. Then he came again the next day and stood before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The state I was in yesterday because of you, I am in the same state today."
Al-Bazzar recorded it from his teacher Umar bin Isma'il bin Mujalid, who is a kadhdhab (liar).
