بَابُ مَنَاقِبِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ -
Virtues of Ja'far bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him)
Majma al-Zawaid 15499 — Virtues of Ja'far bin Abi Talib
وَعَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ قَالَ : أُرِيَهُمُ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فِي النَّوْمِ ، فَرَأَى جَعْفَرًا مَلَكًا ذَا جَنَاحَيْنِ مُضَرَّجَيْنِ بِالدِّمَاءِ ، وَزَيْدٌ مُقَابِلُهُ عَلَى السَّرِيرِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ مُرْسَلًا بِإِسْنَادَيْنِ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحَدِهِمَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
قُلْتُ : وَيَأْتِي حَدِيثٌ فِي فَضْلِ زَيْدِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ ، وَفِيهِ فَضْلُ جَعْفَرٍ وَعَلِيٍّ .
قُلْتُ : وَيَأْتِي حَدِيثٌ فِي فَضْلِ زَيْدِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ ، وَفِيهِ فَضْلُ جَعْفَرٍ وَعَلِيٍّ .
Salim bin Abi al-Ja'd says: Those people were shown to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in a dream. He (peace and blessings be upon him) saw Sayyiduna Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) as an angel, with two wings soaked in blood, and Sayyiduna Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) was opposite him on a couch.
Al-Tabarani recorded it as a mursal report with two chains, and the narrators of one of them are the narrators of the Sahih. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: A hadith will come in the section on the virtues of Sayyiduna Zayd bin Harithah, in which the virtue of Sayyiduna Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) is mentioned.
