وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : رَأَيْتُ جَعْفَرَ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ مَلَكًا يَطِيرُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ ذَا جَنَاحَيْنِ يَطِيرُ بِهِمَا حَيْثُ شَاءَ مَقْصُوصَةً قَوَادِمُهُ بِالدِّمَاءِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ بِإِسْنَادَيْنِ وَأَحَدُهُمَا حَسَنٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I saw Ja'far bin Abi Talib in a state like that of an angel, flying in Paradise. He had two wings with which he would fly wherever he wished, and the front feathers of his wings were stained with blood."
Al-Tabarani recorded it with two chains, and one of the two chains is hasan (good).
