وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ : لَمَّا قَدِمَ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ مِنْ أَرْضِ الْحَبَشَةِ تَلَقَّاهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَلَمَّا نَظَرَ جَعْفَرٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - خَجَلَ إِعْظَامًا مِنْهُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَبَّلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ ، وَقَالَ : " يَا حَبِيبِي أَشْبَهَ النَّاسِ بِخَلْقِي وَخُلُقِي ، وَخُلِقْتَ مِنَ الطِّينَةِ الَّتِي خُلِقْتُ مِنْهَا " ، قُلْتُ : فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ فِي كِتَابِ الْخِلَافَةِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مَكِّيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرُّعَيْنِيُّ ، وَهَذَا مِنْ مَنَاكِيرِهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مَكِّيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرُّعَيْنِيُّ ، وَهَذَا مِنْ مَنَاكِيرِهِ .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: When Sayyiduna Ja'far bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) came from the land of Abyssinia, he met the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When Sayyiduna Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with him) saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he moved forward quickly out of reverence for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) kissed him between his two eyes and said: "O my beloved one! In physical appearance and in character you resemble me most of all people, and you were created from the same clay from which I was created."
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: He then mentioned the full hadith, which has already passed in the Book of the Caliphate (Kitab al-Khilafah). Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Makki bin Abdullah al-Ru'ayni, and this report is one of his munkar (denounced) reports.
