بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي الْعَبَّاسِ عَمِّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَمَنْ جُمِعَ مَعَهُ مِنْ وَلَدِهِ
Reports on al-Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), paternal uncle of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and those of his children mentioned with him

وَعَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " احْفَظُونِي فِي الْعَبَّاسِ ; فَإِنَّهُ بَقِيَّةُ آبَائِي " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ جَمَاعَةٌ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ .
Sayyiduna Imam Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Guard me with regard to Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) (i.e. look after him for my sake), for he is the remnant of my forefathers."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its chain contains a group of narrators whom I do not know.
