بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي فَضْلِ حَمْزَةَ عَمِّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَرَضِيَ عَنْهُ

وَعَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَبِيبَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ ، إِنَّهُ لَمَكْتُوبٌ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ فِي السَّمَاءِ السَّابِعَةِ : حَمْزَةُ أَسَدُ اللَّهِ وَأَسَدُ رَسُولِهِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَيَحْيَى وَأَبُوهُ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمَا ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Yahya bin Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Labibah reports from his father, from his grandfather, this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "By the One in whose hand is my soul, it is written with Allah Almighty in the seventh heaven: 'Hamzah is the lion of Allah and of His Messenger.'"
Al-Tabarani recorded it; Yahya and his father, I do not know either of them. The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
