Ibn Abi Husayn narrates: Sayyidah Durrah bint Abi Lahab (may Allah be pleased with her) was the wife of al-Harith bin Abdullah bin Nawfal, and she bore him his children Uqbah, al-Walid and Abu Muslim. Then this lady came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in Madinah. The people talked a great deal about her parents, so she said: O Messenger of Allah! Is there no one besides me who is the child of disbelievers? the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked this lady: What has happened? The lady said: The people of Madinah have hurt me concerning my parents. the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to this lady: When I pray Zuhr, you should pray at a place where I can see you. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had prayed Zuhr and turned and looked towards her, he turned to the people and said: "O people! Do you have lineage, and I have no lineage?" Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) stood up and said: May Allah Almighty be angry with whoever has made you angry. the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is my cousin; let no one say anything to her except good."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration. The narrator named Ibn Abi Husayn is Abdullah bin Abi Husayn; this narration is mursal, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
