Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyidah Umm Hani' bint Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with her) went out of her house with her adornment visible and her earrings showing. Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said to her: Do good deeds, for Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) will not be of any use to you. That lady came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and told him about this. the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What is the matter with people who claim that my intercession will not reach my household, when my intercession will reach even Ha' and Hakam? (The narrator says:) These are two tribes."
