قَالَ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ : قُتَيْلَةُ بِنْتُ قَيْسٍ الْكِنْدِيَّةُ - أُخْتُ الْأَشْعَثِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ - تَزَوَّجَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَلَمْ يَدْخُلْ بِهَا حَتَّى فَارَقَهَا .
Imam al-Tabarani states: Qutaylah bint Qays al-Kindiyyah, the sister of Sayyiduna al-Ash'ath bin Qays (may Allah be pleased with him): the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) married this lady, but he separated from her before the marriage was consummated.
