The wives and slave women of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
Majma al-Zawaid 15388 — The wives and slave women of the Prophet ﷺ
وَعَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ قَالَ : خَطَبَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - امْرَأَةً مِنْ كَلْبٍ ، فَبَعَثَ عَائِشَةَ تَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهَا . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ جَابِرٌ الْجُعْفِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Ibn Abi Mulaykah narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent a marriage proposal to a woman from the tribe of Kalb, and he sent Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) so that she could see that woman.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration; its chain contains a narrator, Jabir al-Ju'fi, who is da'if (weak).
