وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " لِلْحَائِضِ دُفُعَاتٌ ، وَلِدَمِ الْحَيْضِ رِيحٌ يُعْرَفُ بِهِ ، فَإِذَا ذَهَبَ قُرْءُ الْحَيْضِ فَلْتَغْتَسِلْ إِحْدَاكُنَّ ، ثُمَّ لِتَغْسِلْ عَنْهَا الدَّمَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَدِيٍّ : وَهُوَ مِمَّنْ يُكْتَبُ حَدِيثُهُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَدِيٍّ : وَهُوَ مِمَّنْ يُكْتَبُ حَدِيثُهُ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The menstruating woman's blood comes in gushes, and menstrual blood has a smell by which it is recognised. When the period of menstruation has ended, let any one of you take the ritual bath (ghusl), then wash the blood off herself."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Husayn bin Abdullah bin Ubaydullah bin Abbas, who is da'if (weak). Ibn Adi says: He is among those whose hadith is written down.
