بَابُ مَنَاقِبِ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَرَضِيَ عَنْهَا
Virtues of Maymunah bint al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with her), wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
Majma al-Zawaid 15364 — Virtues of Maymunah bint al-Harith, wife
وَعَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " الْأَخَوَاتُ مُؤْمِنَاتٌ " . - يَعْنِي مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتَ الْحَارِثِ ، وَأُمَّ الْفَضْلِ بِنْتَ الْحَارِثِ ، وَسَلْمَى امْرَأَةَ حَمْزَةَ ، وَأَسْمَاءَ بِنْتَ عُمَيْسٍ - . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ ، وَقَدْ وَثَّقَهُ جَمَاعَةٌ وَضَعَّفَهُ آخَرُونَ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The sisters are believers." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) meant Sayyidah Maymunah bint al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with her), Sayyidah Umm al-Fadl bint al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with her), Sayyidah Salma, who was the wife of Sayyiduna Hamzah (may Allah be pleased with him), and Sayyidah Asma' bint Umays (may Allah be pleased with her).
At-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Ya'qub bin Muhammad al-Zuhri, whom a group declared thiqah (trustworthy) and others declared da'if (weak); the rest of the narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih.
