Majma al-Zawaid 15354 — Reports on Zaynab bint Jahsh, wife
وَعَنِ ابْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ قَالَ : تُوُفِّيَتْ زَيْنَبُ بِنْتُ جَحْشٍ زَوْجُ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فِي خِلَافَةِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Ibn al-Munkadir says: Sayyidah Zaynab bint Jahsh (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), passed away during the caliphate of Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him).
